We have a lovely garden at our home. It is my refuge year around, the place where I go for peace and restoration. I am grateful for my garden because it draws me outside

When you stop to smell the flowers, you may also nurture your soul.

and away from my work for a brief time each day. From March through November, it’s pleasant to walk among the plants and admire the blooms while soaking up the heat of summer or feeling the invigorating chill of spring or autumn.

How to Make Connections at a Party

We kick off the winter holiday season every year with our Wine Nouveau party, which we held this past Saturday. In the French-inspired tradition of Nouveau where the vintage from the fall harvest is sampled, we taste the Chateau d’Anne wines we bottled in the summer from last fall’s harvest.

‘I’ve never known a miserly wine lover’

Our wine labels include the motto: ‘I’ve Never Known a Miserly Wine Lover.’ We believe that wine, like life, is meant to be shared with friends old and new. It is through sharing that we make connections and build the community who celebrate with us when we’re up, and hold us together when our world is falling apart. Continue reading
