But when people give in to this call, what do they do next? Certainly Christopher Columbus and his crew had courage. They had the courage to face whatever disease, disaster or even whatever manner of death might strike. They expected to suffer hardship, yet they were game for a good adventure, and willing to roll the dice for the promise of discovering something bigger than they already knew or could imagine.
