The most important thing you’ll ever do in your life is to name your personal truth and use it to guide everything you do and say. Knowing what you believe, knowing your personal truth, is the key to living an
honest, open and true life, a life that acknowledges the pure essence of who and what you are.
No one can discover your truth for you. You cannot purchase your personal truth nor borrow it from someone. It does not help you if others discover their own truth because their personal values and beliefs are not your personal values and beliefs. Your truth is something you discover at the right time, when you are ready.
“You will recognize your own path when you
come upon it, because you will suddenly have all
the energy and imagination you will ever need.”
Personal truth requires clarity, and often comes through trial and error, confusion and frustration.
When you have discovered your truth, then you know how to be true to you.
When you have discovered your truth, you will be able to listen to others, say what you think, set your own boundaries and take care of yourself. You will be free to be who you are, to trust in yourself and to freely express who you are. You will relish your imperfections and dare to trust yourself. You will be free to admit what you want, to seek what you want, to risk what you want.
You will be free to soar to spectacular heights.
Your Personal Appraisal
- Are your feelings about yourself controlled by how others feel about you?
- Do you give your power away to others?
- Do you trust in your ability to do what you need to do?
- Do you trust yourself to know what you need to know about others?
- Are you being yourself or trying to be someone else?
Life Is Honest, Open and True: You learn your own truth for yourself. It does not show up without your effort, it shows up when you are ready for it. When you know your personal truth, you move with ease in the world, your life expands, you prosper. If you are struggling to find your personal truth, try this week to recognize those times when you see life as a series of obstacles set in place to make you miserable. Recast those obstacles as the small moments in time they really are. Let yourself be guided to the truth and trust that all is well and on schedule.
